I work in Google’s Android team, leading work in the intersection of hardware and software interfaces, within new form factors Google is developing.
My aim is to make Android multimodal interactions best in class and inclusive for all.
At the heart of this aim is a human centred approach combined with a lot of prototyping/testing to understand limitations & possibilities - both of the technology and with people’s understanding/behaviour.

Arrival is an electric vehicle manufacturer and technology innovator, attempting to manufacture commercial vans & buses.
I lead the design of our van’s end-to-end user experience, influencing nearly all the physical & digital touch points. In parallel, I have worked on future facing projects looking into autonomy, charging etc.
Note: Most of my Arrival adventure is under NDA and cannot be shared in public. Here is a small snapshot of the work I have been part of, the process and outcomes. Please get in touch with me for more information
In this book that I have co-authored, we explore creating a human approach to autonomous mobility that goes beyond technological feasibility.
This is a culmination of 2.5 years of contextual research and prototyping, looking deep into the human needs and desires that might drive the advent of autonomy and its adoption in the near future.

Over 2018-19, my team and I at ustwo London connected and developed the Jaguar Landrover connected products, which was amongst the first in the world and helped them launch it in the respective app stores.
I lead the design team and the UX for this set of applications.
My team and I worked with Changan Automotive and Mercedes Benz during 2018-19 on a few conceptual in-car interactions.
This is a brief description of both projects.
This thought piece speaks about the issue of excess and featuritis in present day motorcycle clusters and brings the focus back to the needs of the rider and an understanding of context — in defining the best possible user experience.

I was part of creating Persona - an email client suite across iOS and Mac platforms during 2013-2014, both as co-founder and designer.
It was developed as a study during my stint at the Copenhagen Institute of Interaction design, which later grew into it's own product and startup. We were live on the appstore to critical reviews and our main product site lives here.
Persona was designed to change the perception and experience of using email by especially focusing on People, the Conversations between them and the Knowledge shared in emails today. It represents and sorts email in an uncluttered zen-like format with quick editing and controlling interactions throughout the product.
Frugal Digital was a research wing of the Copenhagen Institute of Interaction Design (CIID) between 2011-13.
I was part of it as a researcher and prototyper during 2012.
